Not all of our family reading is off paper. We get much of our news and entertainment online. Recently, I was reading Jen Singer's blog about tweens (and much more) at http://www.goodhousekeeping.com/, and she mentioned some blogs she enjoys. One is The Haiku Diaries at http://thehaikudiaries.wordpress.com/. How fun! The haiku diarists blog about all manner of everyday things in the five-seven-five syllable poetic form. I decided to try my hand at it. Here is the new version of my Monday, July 21 post:
